The Dynamic Tactics and Game Plans are controlled by pressing left and right on the D-pad. If you want to make sure that you are playing with the default formation press left or right on the D-pad and the bar will flash up on the screen. To play with your default formation and tactics it should say “Balanced” If it says anything else you will be playing with one of your other Dynamic Tactics/Game Plans. If you haven’t edited them in the formation editor then it will be a variation of your default formation such as a more defensive or attacking version.
How do I Edit Dynamic Tactics?
When editing your squad/formation, click the triangle/Y button to go into the “Squad Actions” menu and then select “Custom Tactics”. On this page, you can initially edit your default/balanced game plans and by pressing L2/LT you can then edit your different game plans.
